Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is simply considered as the best romantic movie that the Bollywood film industry has produced in over years, be it Raj romancing Simran in the scenic locations of Europe or the iconic train scene which still rings a bell in the minds many, the movie had it all. Hence, it comes as a pleasant surprise when we got to know that a remake of DDLJ is in the pipeline.A report from a leading daily stated that Aditya Chopra is planning to make a remake of this super-hit film which will see both Shahrukh Khan and Kajol team up again. The title is yet to be confirmed but if anything is to go by, Dulhaniya Chali Dilwale Ke Sath might be the title!
The report further says that the story will be tweaked a little to suit the present time and will have SRK-Kajol only in cameo roles.
The Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge remake might see TV actor Farhan Khan as the male lead and actor Mahika Sharma as the lead actress. Boman Irani and Paresh Rawal, who will play the role of Anupam Kher and Amrish Puri respectively.
A source even told the very leading daily that a song will be shot in the exotic locales of Malaysia. However, the spokesperson of Chopra’s production house has denied these reports.
